  2. Add butter and flour to the mixture, mix with a whisk.

  4. Carefully add chocolate pieces to the finished dough and stir with a silicone spatula.
  5. Roll the dough into small balls, three centimeters in diameter.
  6. Cover a baking sheet with parchment.
  7. Place the balls on a baking sheet in a loose order, but not crowded together. You can press them down a little.
  8. Bake cookies for 15-20 minutes.

New Year's cookies with nuts

Ingredients (for 15 pieces):

  • 400 g chocolate drops or pieces;
  • 450 g high quality flour;
  • 150 g finely ground cane sugar;
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder;
  • 100 g melted butter or coconut oil;
  • 50 g baby applesauce;
  • salt (to taste);
  • 1-2 chicken eggs;
  • 250 g medium-ground walnuts.

Cooking instructions:

  1. Mix sifted flour with baking soda or baking powder.
  2. Using a blender or whisk, beat applesauce, sugar, salt, and butter in a container. Then add the eggs to the mixture without ceasing to beat.
  3. Then add flour to the bowl and stir until smooth.
  4. Add chocolate chips and walnuts to the dough and mix gently.
  5. Using an ice cream scoop, form balls and place them loosely on the baking sheet.
  6. Bake in preheated oven for 16 minutes.
  7. The cookies will be done when they have darkened around the edges but are still soft in the center.

Analogues of chocolate drops

  5. Mix all ingredients using a blender until smooth and freeze in the refrigerator for 20 minutes.
  6. The mixture should be transferred to a pastry bag and squeezed out onto parchment paper. This can be done in any sequence and with the drops closely spaced.
  7. Afterwards, the filled parchment should be moved to a tray and put in the freezer for half an hour.

Chocolate drops are ready! The only thing that should be observed in storage is not to leave the drops at room temperature. They should be taken out of the freezer just before use, otherwise they will melt.

What you will need to prepare chocolate drops:

  • 1 cup cocoa powder;
  • ½ cup coconut oil;
  • 4 tablespoons honey;
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract;
  • large tray;
  • baking parchment;
  • piping bag with tip.

A simple recipe for making chocolate chips

If you don't have a piping bag, you can substitute a zip-top plastic bag.

Step 1

Melt the coconut oil in a double boiler. Just before the butter completely melts, remove it from the heat, pour it into a large container to cool, and stir. The coconut oil should become clear.

Step 2

Add cocoa powder, honey and vanilla to the butter.

Mix all the ingredients until a homogeneous mass is formed and put it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to make it easier to work with in the future.

Preparation:

  3. Place applesauce in a separate deep bowl.
  4. Add granulated cane sugar, melted butter and a pinch of fine grain salt.
  5. Using a blender or mixer, beat these ingredients until a mass of homogeneous consistency is obtained.
  6. At minimum speed we continue to beat this mass. Add chicken eggs one at a time.
  7. Continue beating until smooth.
